The UPSC Civil Service Exam recruitment notification 2023 has been released by the Union Public Service Commission today (UPSC) on February 1, 2023. After the release of this notification, the UPSC has also started the application process for Civil Services Examination.

Candidates who are willing to apply for the UPSC exam can fill out the online application form by visiting the official website of UPSC (https://upsc.gov.in/). The last date to complete the UPSC CSE application process is February 21, 2023.

Candidates Will Have To Complete One Time Registration Process

The candidates who want to apply for this application will have to complete the one-time registration process on the official website of UPSC. After successful registration candidates have to proceed to fill out the online application for the exam. Registration can be done only once and anytime throughout the year. If any candidate is already registered on the OTR portal, then he/she can proceed directly to fill out the online application.

UPSC CSE Application Revision Dates

After completing the registration process candidates will also be given a chance to amend the application form by the Union Public Service Commission. According to the UPSC commission, the revision process will be started after the last date for the application process to end. It means the applicants could make changes for the errors in the application form from February 22 to February 28, 2023.

What is UPSC Civil Service Exam?

UPSC Civil Service Exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. Every year lakhs of Indian youth appear in this examination but only a few hard-working candidates succeed and get selected.

After being selected the candidates can be appointed anywhere in 24 service departments of the Government of India. The posts of IAS, IPS, and IFS are also filled by this exam. The most important post in this exam is IAS officer i.e. Indian Administrative Service Officer. Selected candidates in IAS become Secretaries in various Ministries, Administrative Officers/District Magistrates/Collectors of Departments or Districts.
